Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@geniemadeit.com.
Information we collect
- Account details — your email address and, if you choose, your name.
- Photos you upload — images you provide so we can create your portraits.
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
- Usage data — basic logs and analytics to operate and improve the service.
How we use your information
- To create, store, and deliver your portraits and cards, and to operate your Vault.
- To notify you about your orders and account by email.
- To process payments, prevent fraud, and provide support.
Your photos and your likeness
Some features — Studio You in particular — ask you to upload photographs of yourself so that we can
create images in your likeness. Your photographs are used as references for the images you ask us to
make, and for nothing else.
- Purpose. To generate the images you request. That is the whole of it.
- We never sell or licence them, and we do not use them to train shared, public or
foundation models.
- Who touches them. Generation runs on our AI model providers as processors acting
on our instructions. Storage is on our own infrastructure.
- How long we keep them. While your account is open, so that you can reuse them
without uploading again. We delete them when you delete them or close your account.
- You can delete them at any time from your account, or by emailing us.
Photographs of other people deserve the same care. Please do not upload someone else’s image
without their permission, and never a child’s.
Every creation carries a tamper-evident certificate of authenticity. That certificate records that a
specific file was first registered by your account on a specific date — it does not contain your
photographs.
Service providers
We share limited data with vendors who help us run the service, solely to perform work on our
behalf. They are contractually bound to protect it and may not use it for their own purposes.
- AI model providers — fal.ai. Receives the prompt, and where you use a reference
photo or Studio You, the image or training data needed to fulfil that request.
- Stripe — payments. We never see or store your full card number.
- Resend — transactional email. Twilio — SMS, where you ask for it.
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage and security for the site and your creations.
- Google Analytics — how the site is used, in aggregate.
- Microsoft Clarity — usage analytics including session recordings
of how pages are used. Recordings capture on-page interaction such as clicks and scrolling. They are
not used to identify you, and we do not use them to capture what you type into password fields.
- Rewardful — affiliate referral tracking, so a partner who referred you is credited.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual creations from your Vault, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@geniemadeit.com.
Children
GenieMade is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
You may access, correct, or delete your information, or opt out of marketing email at any time. Contact us at support@geniemadeit.com.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will post the new effective date here.
